Description
The emergence of Natural Supersymmetry has inspired stop quark searches as one of the focal points of probing Supersymmetry at LHC. Although, no signal was observed for the 8 TeV run, a huge amount of parameter space still remains to be probed, and requires specialized techniques to investigate these possibilities. As the masses of sparticles are pushed up and cross sections fall, effective strategies are required to be devised to delineate a signal from the rubble of the background. This talk will focus on the use of top tagging techniques and certain transverse variables like MT2 in stop searches for specific regions of the parameter space. We will show that it is possible to use these techniques to probe large parts of the SUSY parameter space.
