High precision calculations: status and prospects for LHC phenomenology

I will briefly review the status of precision calculations, first focusing on NLO calculations and their automation. In the second part of the talk, I will give a short overview of what is available beyond NLO. Finally, the program SecDec, which can be used for numerical multi-loop calculations, will be presented, together with some applications.
