The standard model in noncommutative geometry after the discovery of the Higgs

Description
We will give a state of the art of the description of the standard model of elementary particle in noncommutative geometry. In particular we will discuss how to obtain within the noncommutative framework a new scalar field, which has been proposed by particles physicist to cure the instability of the electroweak vacuum, and that makes the computation of the mass of the Higgs in Connes theory compatible with its experimental value
