Description
This will be a practical 'hands on' introduction to using Rivet. It will go on throughout the afternoon, with a coffee/tea/discussion break around 15:30-16:00.
To benefit most from this tutorial, participants are kindly asked to install Rivet on their laptops prior to the session. For those who don't want to install Rivet themselves, there is a virtual machine available on the hepforge server with it already installed. Go to the Rivet download page and click on Rivet.ova. It's quite a large file (~4.5 GB) because it's a complete Linux installation. This file can be opened with VirtualBox (download link) with the File > Import Appliance menu option. The password can be obtained from Chris.
