Description
This talk is about simple effective models of fermionic WIMP dark matter, where the dark matter candidate is a mixture of a Standard Model singlet and an n-plet of SU(2) with n >= 3. The dark matter mass is assumed to be around the electroweak scale, and the observed relic density is generated by coannihilation. These models can be probed by direct detection or at colliders. In particular, for n >= 4 they can give rise to exotic signatures at the LHC, because they include long-lived doubly-charged fermions.
