Description
Composite Higgs models are interesting solutions to the hierarchy problem as they remove the elementary Higgs degree of freedom by making it a (composite) pseudo-Nambu-Goldstone boson of new global symmetries. Little Higgs models are a variant of these with additional symmetry structure to alleviate the tension between the electroweak and the UV completion scales in electroweak precision data. We review the constraints on their parameter space from the LHC runs 1 and 2, as well as from dark matter experiments. In addition, we give prospects for the upcoming high-luminosity runs of LHC.
Note: there will be an informal pre-seminar on the theory of Little Higgs models on Tue March 20 at 3pm in the theory group.
