An Alternative Interpretation of Riemann Zeta Function as a Scattering Amplitude

Séminaire de A. Khare Abstract: After describing some basic properties of the Riemann Zeta function, we offer an alternative interpretation as a scattering amplitude with the zeros on the half-axis being the resonances of the scattering amplitude. We also discuss some simple models to understand the phase of this function.
