Ilya AVERBUKH, Weizmann Institute, Israël We will present new coherent effects in the evolution of a strongly driven quantum rotor, and will consider several strategies for generating angularly squeezed states. Applications to molecular orientation (alignment) by strong laser fields and atom lithography will be discussed.
