Description
Séminaire par Thomas MELDE (Graz) Résumé: Point form relativistic quantum mechanics presents an interesting alternative to field theoretical relativistic approaches and its application to constituent quark models leads to interesting results in the description of baryons. After a short introduction to the method, an overview to results regarding the strong decay properties of baryon resonances and the electromagnetic nucleon form factors will be discussed. Difficulties in the construction of the point form spectator model are demonstrated and possible refinements suggested.
