Description
Séminaire théorie par Giancarlo FERRERA (Université de Rome). Résumé: We discuss threshold resummation in semi-inclusive heavy-flavour decays and in heavy-flavour fragmentation. We focalize on the radiative and semileptonic B decays and on the b-quark fragmentation, discussing both analogies and differences. To deal with the large non-perturbative effects, we introduce a model for NNLL-resummed form factors based on an effective QCD coupling, which does not exhibit the Landau pole. Through this model, and without introducing any ad-hoc non-perturbative component, we can reproduce with good accuracy most experimental data on decays and fragmentation.
