[Medical Physics seminar] Space-Radiation Risk Modeling

NASA is currently establishing a roadmap for long-term exploration of the lunar surface and Mars, where crew members will be exposed to various spaceflight hazards including ionizing radiation from solar particle events and galactic cosmic rays. This presentation gives an overview of the tools that are developed to estimate health risks associated with radiation exposure, with an emphasis on carcinogenesis.
