Description
The diffractive parton densities determined in deep-inelastic scattering (DIS) at HERA fail to describe diffractive dijet production at the Tevatron, caracterized by a large rapidity gap.
This observation has been interpreted as the breaking of QCD factorization due to multiple Pomeron exchanges. We show that next-to-leading order QCD corrections do not invalidate this interpretation, but that the rapidity-gap survival probability is further reduced and depends less on the momentum transferred from the diffractive exchange to the two jets, in particular at lower center-mass-energies or when jet production in DIS is used to constrain the diffractive parton densities.
