[ML Coffee] Model-agnostic new physics searches

The model-agnostic new physics search is one of the major goals and motivations for the ML application to new physics searches at the LHC. Although there has been a lot of progress in this direction, many current proposals focus on resonant new physics events and/or suffer from signal- or background-model dependence. I want to discuss possible directions for signal- and background-agnostic non-resonant new physics searches with ML.
