Description
In the last few years, tensor networks have emerged as a new mathematical framework to solve problems that are apparently exponentially difficult. In this seminar, I will introduce the basic concepts and show a few examples (high-dimension integrals beyond Monte-Carlo, partial differential equations, ultrafastFourier transform...). Then I will show in more details the closest example I have to a high energy physics problem (being a condensed matter theorist): the automatic calculation of a very large number of Feynman diagrams (including all diagrams up to order 30).
