Citizen science is the practice of public participation and collaboration in scientific research to increase scientific knowledge. Different steps of the research processes can be taken in account through citizen participation, depending on the project. My work has been focused on data collecting with amateur astronomers. As an active member and contact point for France in the project Exoclock which concerns caracterization of exoplanets, I would like to show you the work we have been doing and the results we obtained for the last 6 years. I would like to highlight some other experiments and results in our field of research in the last decades bringing fruits for the next generation of citizen science projects.
