Description
In supersymmetric models, one may naturally obtain very light Dirac neutrino masses from F-term SUSY breaking, thus providing an explanation for neutrino masses. This class of supersymmetric models offers an interesting alternative dark matter (DM) candidate, the sneutrino, partner of the right-handed neutrino. In this talk I review the potential dark matter candidates in supersymmetry before examining the constraints on sneutrino dark matter and discussing the possible signatures of the sneutrino in direct detection, indirect detection and collider experiments. The light sneutrino that can provide an explanation to the recent observations of CDMS and CogENT will be emphasized.
