In this talk I will overview the current status of neutrino oscillations. I will review the most recent oscillation experiments results, and present the global picture of the sterile neutrino scenario. An appraise of the neutrino hierarchy and CP phase sensitivities of near future experiments like T2K and NOvA will be given, as well as some future perspectives on the search for sterile neutrinos.
