Description
In this talk the properties of the Inert Doublet Model are presented with focus on the dark matter (DM) candidate. A number of theoretical and experimental constraints is discussed. In particular the LHC results on the 125 GeV Higgs boson are combined with the DM relic abundance constraints from WMAP and PLANCK. As a consequence, bounds on the possible DM mass and properties are shown and a comparison with the XENON and LUX results is made. The possibilities of observation of such DM particles at the LHC are also briefly discussed.
