Beyond the Standard Model : phenomenology and LHC constraints of exotic dark matter.
It is the aim of this thesis project to explore the collider and dark matter implications of new physics scenarios which go beyond the standard paradigms usually considered in the literature. Besides working out the detailed phenomenology, an important aspect is the extension of our current numerical tools necessary for systematic studies of the parameter spaces of such models. On the one hand, this concerns the implementation of the relevant models, and notably the treatment of dark matter properties beyond the thermal WIMP picture, in micrOMEGAs. On the other hand, the relevant LHC constraints need to be included in LHC interpretation tools such as SModelS or MadAnalysis. I will first present the developments I have been involved in regarding LHC phenomenology tools and then the ongoing work aiming to use these new features.
