Bonjour tout le monde,
Les "Rencontres de cosmologie des lacs alpins" sont de retour !
Nous tentons ici de faire revivre une ancienne initiative, initialement instaurée par Julien Lesgourgues et Pierre Salati il y a de cela plus de vingt ans, basée sur le cadre privilégié fourni par la proximité de nombreuses institutions : le CERN, l'UNIGE, l'observatoire de Versoix, l'EPFL, le LAPTh, l'ENS et l'université de Lyon ainsi que le LPSC à Grenoble.
Cette journée semestrielle a pour but de fournir un prétexte à des contacts plus réguliers entre personnes et ami.e.s travaillant sur des thématiques en lien avec la cosmologie et de profiter du cadre local particulièrement stimulant pour faire germer de belles et nouvelles idées.
Comme Julien Lesgourgues le disait : "Ces journées ont un caractère très informel. Elles ne doivent pas devenir une énième réunion standard mais fournir une opportunité pour discuter et échanger"'.

Hello everyone,
The "Rencontres de cosmologie des lacs alpins" are back !
The aim of this gathering is to revive an old initiative, originally launched by Julien Lesgourgues and Pierre Salati over twenty years ago, based on the privilege of having a close network of numerous institutions in the area: CERN, UNIGE, the Versoix observatory, EPFL, LAPTh, ENS Lyon and the University of Lyon, as well as the LPSC in Grenoble.
This biannual event is dedicated to enhancing and encouraging more regular contacts between people – and friends – working on cosmology-related topics, and to take advantage of the particularly stimulating local environment to envision new, fruitful, beautiful ideas.
As Julien Lesgourgues would put it : « These events are of a very informal nature. They are not meant to become yet-another-meeting, but provide an opportunity for discussions and exchanges. »
