This will be the 4th installment in a series of technical workshops, aiming to foster cooperation in confronting the challenges of the worldwide search for an EDM of the free neutron. Contributed presentations will survey progress in the various worldwide efforts, and address key technical challenges and new concepts in depth.
A mini-school with the following invited lectures will introduce key concepts (theory and experimental techniques) at a level appropriate for those just entering the field:
Laura Covi: Cosmological Motivations to Search for the nEDM
Adam Falkowski: Effective Theories Beyond the Standard Model; and CP Violation in Effective Field Theory
Dieter Ries: Fundamentals of Neutron EDM Experiments
The workshop will take place fully online; please register to obtain access to the sessions.
The schedule of contributed presentations is shifted towards afternoon/evening CET, to facilitate remote participation from North America. The mini-school lectures will take place in the morning, and be posted for later viewing on the nEDM2021 YouTube channel.
