Lyon-Saint Exupéry airport (LYS)

The Lyon Saint Exupery International Airport (LYS) is the most convenient way to come to Grenoble.

Regular buses ensure the connections Grenoble-LYS and LYS-Grenoble. Arrival : Grenoble bus station.
The transfer to Grenoble takes 1 hour.  The return ticket costs 33€. There is one shuttle every hour. See 2010 schedule Here.


Geneva International Airport
(GVA)

Depending on your country of departure, The Geneva International Airport can be a more convenient alternative to the LYS airport. The AEROCAR shuttle bus can drive you directly to the Grenoble bus station. The travel duration is 2h30. Only 3 rotations per day. The return ticket costs 57€.  See timetable and rates Here. Also, you'll need a valid Swiss visa to use that option. Alternatively, you can take the train (2 hours) from Geneva train station. 

Four trains per day (duration of the trip : two hours).

Grenoble Isere Airport (GNB), Saint-Etienne de Saint-Geoirs:

The Grenoble Isère Airport (GNB) is the closest to Grenoble. Its activity is mainly driven by winter tourism, but some international regular lines are available.

TGV Paris-Grenoble (Non-stop trains)

  • Departure "Gare de Lyon" railway station : journey time : three hours
  • Departure Charles de Gaulle (Roissy) railway station : journey time : three hours fifteen
